Remove the applique?

What is the best way to remove the adhesive applique stripes. I plan to buff out the black paint but need to strip the blue wavy things.

I have some goof-off but that works best in the adhesive.

I like using a 3M Eraser Wheel...best product ever for removing stickers or pinstrips. No way you can jack your paint up by using one.

I just finished taking all the decals off an old delivery truck this weekend... heat gun worked great! As for the leftover adhesive I just used WD-40.

Heat Gun set to low...then follow up with 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner followed by a "finishing rubbing compound" such as 3M Finnese-IT , then wax as normal.
