claybar question

am i able to use a claybar on my aluminum rims? there is some stains or dirt that won't come off with just cleaning. will it harm the rim any? is the clearcoat on a rim different then a painted fender or is it the same? i'm assuming that the clear on the wheel is thicker, correct?

No a claybar will not hurt. All it uses is spray detailer. It would be less harmful than a wheel cleaner.

Tip: after baring give ur wheels and quick coat of wax it will repel brake dust making them easier to clean next time

The stock wheels are probably clear coated and if won't get off what you're trying to get off unfortunately but it definitely won't hurt them.

Try mothers all wheel spray, spray it on and presure wash it off after a few minutes. Totally cleans up everykind of wheel, gets everything off and leaves them shiney
