i wanna paint some stuff
I am buyin a lil bit of touch up from the dealership to clean some scratches and dings, what the best way to make them disappear... sand and stuff??or can i just paint??
ALSO
wanna paint my from calipers, differential, and rear drums...
WHAT DO I NEED?
(give me a complete list... i.e. sander, primer, paint (brand, grade))

CHIP REPAIR:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
If you are NOT overly concerned about the "smoothness" of the repair you can do this repair in 5 minutes or less. Here's how:
1. Clean the chips/scratched area with a pre paint cleaner
2. Apply touch up paint and while still wet, "smear" the paint with your finger or the a card over the chip and over the surface of the vehicle to other chips in the area if needed, i.e., finger painting the vehicle. This will put paint in the chip/scratch and speed up the drying time of the paint. Likewise, this will leave more touch up paint on the OEM surface (which will come off quite easily...not to worry!).
3. When the paint is "tacky" or "dry" ( a few minutes +/-), wrap your forefinger with a smooth clean cloth. Rub over the areas painted and you can both watch it begin to remove the excess paint and you will "feel" it being rubbed off. Use light pressure when moving over the chip areas and a little bit more pressure where the paint is on the OEM surface. NOTE: if you remove too much paint, just re-do this process being more careful with the amount of pressure you apply with your finger.
4. Buff the excess from the surface.
5. Seal the repair with Paint Sealant
6. Remove any paint on your finger and then wash your hands immediately.

FOR YOUR CALIPERS:
I Highly recommend the G2 Caliper System if its a daily driver. The 2 step system when done with good prep will last the longest.
The Duplicolor one is almost the same. Either way, the mixed aircraft grade paint is good.
