Sticker removal

So I have this 4 foot FmF sticker on the back window of my truck and its been there for about 6 years and is finally starting to peal and crack. The sticker is a white vinyl. Is there any way to remove this sticker and will it leave a fade mark on my back window??
this is an old pic but you get the idea, ps i have been having trouble lately with up loading pics.

Just take your time and use a new, sharp razor blade. Since it is old, a new blade is going to be key.

Yup razor blade will work perfect. Then clean the window and you wont even know it was there.

On the window? No. I mean you might get an outline of goo when it's finally off, but a good cleaning with fix that up.

You only have to really worry about "fade" when peeling stickers off of the paint.

After you get it scraped off with a razor blade you can use WD-40 to remove the adhesive residue.

After using a razor blade to remove the sticker, use nail polish remover (acetone) and cotton ***** to remove the adhesive. That's what I do anyway...

Use a hair dryer to heat it as you go. It helps break the glue. DO NOT use a paint heat gun they get far too hot and may shatter the glas in the right conditions.
As mentioned, acetone next to remove the residue
