Truck Interior

Well im getting my new truck sooner than I thought, I was originally going to go get it saturday but im getting it tommorow night which is great. So i have all friday to clean it and take some pictures for you guys. So i need to know, whats your opinions on using armor all wipes for the dash, and stuff like that???? It needs to be cleaned desperately, so im thinking wash cloth and clean the dust, then go over it with the armor all wipes. What you think? And whats the best type of armor all wipes? I know theres a few out there but unsure what to use.

make sur ethe wash cloth is a terry, or lint free.. or else youll get lint all over the place.... Just hit Walmart, I think they only really have 1 interior armor all wipe, the type that leaves the protective coating on there is what I usually use whenever I do clean out the interior... not sure if its a specific type or not myself.

make sure you use a damp cloth to wipe out the gauge cluster too dont wanna scratch it! :-)

I used armorall wipes in my truck, but for my car I just use a damp cloth and wipe everything down. I think the shiney look is over rated myself and it makes the surfaces look "new" if you just use a damp cloth- not to mention with the wipes your truck will smell like armorall all of the time.. totally IMO though.

I prefer the Meguiars Ultimate Detailer wipes, they leave a nice matte finish.

Armor All is petroleum based it ruins vinyl, can cause it to shrink. STP Son of a Gun or 404 Protectant is much better.
