what brand/kind of tire shine do you use

i have tried lots of different tire shine and i cant seem to find one that last more than two days or one that doesnt go flying all along the side of my truck. and i am currently trying Meguires NXT insane shine tire spray and it seems to shine like they say but every little piece of dirt sticks to the tire. so do you guys have and suggestion on which one i should use

Well it all depends on the shine that you want. I really love that wet look but if you want that then dirt is going to attract to it more and most likely sling all over your truck. Black magic is good but it likes to sling everywhere and attract dirt and not last. I would recommend maybe getting something that you apply with a sponge, give it a shine yet a finished look so that it wont attract dirt or sling everywhere but still shine nice.

BTW I want to try that insane shine.

I drive in the rain. It leaves this shiney wet look I absolutely love. and when it gets sunny, well, if I cared, I'd just shoot the tires with the 'ol hose. Give em a lil bit o' "Mother nature's tire shine".

meguires works real good hot shine or something like that in the black and orange can. i use that when i go to shows and i have so many people ask me what i use on my tires to get them look so good. it is made out of a silicon spray so it sticks to the tires pretty good and doesnt get all over the truck that bad.

that seems like a realy good idea but what i use is black majic and i take a washrag and wipe it down a lil so theres not much wetness then i squirt the bottle on all 4 tires again and wipe it down again to give it a deep shine plus it helps clean ur tire too.

at work, i use Blue Coral Tire shine. For my truck, works great. in any of my "show" pictures, thats whats on the tires. if you let it dry i think about 5-10 mins, it doesn't sling off, and keeps the wet look for a few days.
I shined my tires up, thursday, went to do some dusty donuts, they still shined through the dirt, and i went back today after it rained, and they still appear to have some shine and mud on them[the perfect match].

I would stray from aerosol shines, it gets all over the vehicle, unless you have constructed a cardboard and cloth type cover that sits in the wheel wells.

I like that new DuPont Teflon Tire shine. It's not overly shiny and nothing sticks to it. It lasts even after washing. I apply it with the $.99 sponge doohickey they sell at the AutoZone checkout counter.

I used to use Mequiar's (regular, not extra shine) tire gel but apparently they discontinued it in favor of "Extreme Shine" which flings on my paint no matter how much I try to wipe it off after applying it, and doesn't last nearly as long as the gel. But hey, its shinier as long as you don't actually drive! (*bastards*)

i was wondering if anyone used baby oil? apply it to a rag and wipe the tires down. only downside is will it accelerate the dry rot process of the rubber? the baby oil works wonders for dashes and plastics.
