Wheel Flares

i have a 2008 black ranger sport 4x4 love this truck,i keep looking at it
and thinking what it would like without the flares and how hard they are
to take off, looks like some kind of plastic screws holding them on,also
thinking of cleaning and waxing the fender once the flares are off, looks like
a great area for rusting out later on .has anybody taken thier flares off.thank you.

Paint them black to match the truck! The grey color sucks
