Congrats. Noone seems to support you 2004+ 4 cyl guys. Give it a month and see if a certain company doesn't have something for you.

Spectre makes some great products for piecing together your own intake tube. You can buy the parts and pieces for around $9 each at most local auto parts stores.

Here is a funny example of the possibilities:

i kept the bottom of the stock intake housing so mud and water wouldnt get on the filter

Great idea! Others have resorted to the "flower pot mod" and the "bucket mod" to create splash shields like yours!

i left the part of my intake that the filter sits in when i made mine, it still sucked up water.

a motor later, it will never happen again.

what kinda of terrain were u in?

i dont go through heavy water.

im thinking like puddles and when its raining, maybe a couple small water crossings.

other then that it sounds awesome at high rpms..i like :)

i was in mud/muddy water.

im putting my stock intake back on soon.
i just have to buy a few things, then im making a cowl snorkel.

bought 3" exhuast piping from advanced and just cut it.
