I have a 2.3 durateck out of an 01 ranger. I was wondering if I could put that motor into a focas of that same time period, and what else would I have to swap? Thanks

 

I thought some focus's came with the 2.3 in them but mostly the 2.0 duratech?

I think the 2.3 in the ranger is slightly different than the one in the focus though.

 

accouple things are different

but a big one is the 01 ranger with the duratec came with EGR, while all foci with the 2.3 had no EGR

also the upper and lower intake are different


those are some that i know off the top of my head
