Bad Day,, Truck wont start,,

Bad Day,, Truck wont start,,

I just washed her yesterday and today ofcourse it RAINS!!!!!

just to add to that I had no problems this morning or durning lunch just wanted to go home after school and she wouldnt start,, there was just the grinding sound sounded like metal on metal,, we tryed to jump it thinking it was the battery had about 12 friends circled around my truck trying to figure out what was wrong with no luck,, called a tow truck and now im rangerless for awhile,, Im pretty sure the starter is dead, the battery is good as everything in the truck works,, any ideas?

Hell, I would removed the starter, had it tested at autozone before I got it towed. I'm all about free stuff though lol.

Sucks though man, hope you get her straightened out!

$499.93 later.....Im back on the road, now to install the k&n 77 series intake thats been sitting here so nicely,, though it looks like I need a new filter, anybody know if trueflow filters are good? unless K&N sells a dry version of the RF-1037 cone,,

$275 for a refab ford starter plus tow and labor costs = $499.93

im just looking for a good dry filter,,
