exhaust on 2011

Hi guy's just a quick question anyone tried putting a better breathing exhaust on the newer rangers. I have a 2011---> 2.3 with auto and yeah I know they don't have much power but just wondering if anyone ever tried a more open exhaust to see if it would help the power a little or not ? thinking of taking stock muffler off and going with a glass pack first ?

It won't help with any power, just the sound.

It will for sure give you more power. but that power gain will be so stinkin small that there is no way you will notice it.

Will sound different, never been a fan of class packs

Well me neither but figured if it would let it run a little better I could deal with the noise. I'm thinkin now test pipe in place of the converter is best I could do to maybe feel a little difference.

I installed a 2" Magnaflow SS muffler. Measured the stock muffler and bought one the same length. Had a coworker at work weld it in in his spare time. I like it!

I did the cc MSDS header, stock cats, 2 1/4 pipe, Flowmaster Deltaflow 50 & Hushpower resentator
The upshifts happen sooner on part throttle, less underhood heat, deeper tone & 2 mpg
