Mazda DISI turbo?
According to this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...tec_I4_pattern
The M5OD-R1 from a 2002 to 2011 Ranger 2.3l Duratec would bolt to the 2.3 DISI Turbo they both use the Ford Duratec I4 transmission bolt pattern
M5OD-R1(M5R1) is a MODEL of ,manual transmission, so all M5R1s won't fit on the 2.3 DISI Turbo engine, only the ones from a 2.3l Duratec
M5R1 specs show it is OK up to 331ft/lb torque
2002 and up Mazda B2300 M5R1 will also work, same 2.3l Duratec engine
Just a heads up, manual transmissions cost EXTRA after 2000, lol, auto was standard transmission, so alot more automatics out there than manuals
And NO, N....O.............1997 and earlier 2.3l Ranger transmission will NOT work, lol.

This is the setup I'm going to drop in but I'm gonna still grab a larger radiator, I didn't realize VVT solenoid ecu and stuff in my ranger would help so much, I swapped out the vvt from an 04 mzr
