Mazda engine replacement
Hello , I have a 00 B3000 that is getting a new Jaspers engine very soon . I was looking for opinions about replacing other things while the motor is out . He told me they come with alot of new stuff already , hoses , filtets etc . I had put a new radiator in right before the engine gave out . The truck has around 120K on it and in pretty good shape .
Any ideas will be appreciated !

Welcome to the forum
You have a 3.0l Vulcan V6 engine in a Mazda B3000
It is a Ford engine, info on it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Vulcan_engine
Mazda L or Duratec 3.0l engine was never used in Mazda or ranger pickups
No, not really any "upgrades" to the Vulcan engine over the years, it has been used in many different Ford/Mazda vehicles from 1986 to 2008.
You can change the intake manifold, some power added from that but not really as much as "they" say, but not 0 either.
Some bolt on parts here: Tom Morana Racing Engines
Electric Radiator fan is a VERY good change, better MPG and extra power for rear wheels.
Not much but not 0 either
