'02 4x4 auto tranny shifting troubles

My '02 4x4 has been experiencing problems. Sometimes when it shifts to second gear, it acts like it is in neutral for just a moment then goes on into second. It doesn't do this all the time. Out of 10 stops and starts, it probably hesitates maybe 5 times. I was told to put a quart of Lucas in it and I did. Still didn't help. Another guy said it may be a sensor that tells the tranny when to shift may be going out. I have no idea. Any suggestions??

How many miles on your truck?

When was the last time you changed your tranny fluid and filter?

Have you tried re-setting the computer, in case it has "learned" this strange pattern of shifting?

My truck has 149k on it. Fluid and filter changed about 1000 miles ago. As far as the computer goes, how do I reset that?

Why would you go to an older truck?

It's only a year older, but has 30K less miles.
