I bought a ford racing limited slip (didn't know that it was FR when I got it) off the internet. there is no ring gear attached, but it is a 28 spline. my question is are the l/s units gear specific or axle specific? if I want to get different gears later when I get bigger tires will I need a new l/s. the l/s is not installed yet
