So I bought a steel plate module pack.

i noticed the direct drum steel plate module I bought doesn’t have these notches compared to the ones I pulled out of the existing transmission.

Any advice? Are the notches from damage or are they machined to be like that?

And if they’re not matching steel plates, where can I find the 5r44e ones because I can’t find them anywhere. Thanks. (See photo below)

i actually found one on ebay which showed the steels with notches but came without so they sold a used product which didn’t fit the description..
