2005 3.0 5sp auto Hard shift light pedal?

It seems like my ranger shifts hard, maybe even delayed when I am barely pressing the gas, if I change pedal position to slow my acceleration, it does the same thing.

Is this kinda normal? 35k on the clock on this thing. ANY clues on what this is?

check your fluid, could be low for some reason.

low fluid = not enough fluid to operate properly in the valve body. Check that fluid.

fluid levels correct (lvl ground, warm trans in park)

its not earth shattering, its just harder than normal, and when taking my foot off the pedal at around 25 or so after accelerating IE making a left turn, I get a little hang.
