2007 auto PRND21 indicator issues

Hello All:
I have a 2007 Ranger auto with 2.3. The PRND21 indicator is off by 1/2 a letter. I can shift in and out of Park, R, and D without any issues, but it bugs my wife.
I searched around the forums here and read the shift cable adjustment procedure. I have the factory service manual and assume I can perform the adjustment (if I can find the weights, I guess).
BUT, before I tackle this I thought I'd ask the experts for any advice.
Thanks, and Happy New Year, Bill

That is a really good, very detailed video. I have never seen one of those broken like that, so good to know how to fix it quick.

THANKS! What an easy fix. Took less than 15 minutes, and two small tywraps and it's done!
Your help is truly appreciated. Happy New Year!
