4wd

My 4LO and 4HI dash lights flash on and off, Is this the dreaded shift motor problem? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Seems like there's a few of us with this problem lately. I've been told to try cleaning it.

I'll try cleaning it today, if that doesn't work I'll be looking for a 1354m to replace the electric crap. What would be invoved it the swap? Would i have to swap over to a manual tranny? Thanks.
