So when I'm in drive and stopped i turn the **** (FTL) into 4WD High and when i do i hear a audible tick and can feel it. at first its pretty quick then it slows down and clunks into 4 wheel. also just after i try to move it clunks and clunks then is fine. when coming out of 4wd it slams out very hard. dealer said this is normal. doesn't seem it

 

time to change your front gears to match the rears....

 

told you having different gears in the front and rear was gonna bite you in the a$$

Running this truck in 4x4 with mismatched gears could have caused internal damage to the transfer case. If this truck was in 4x4 with the incorrect gears in it, most likely you can kiss the transfer case goodbye. Remove the front driveshaft and see if the noise is still present, if it is not you may have a bad front driveshaft or something wrong in the front axle

 

still makes noise with front shaft out. guess i need a tcase damn. also noticed where the front axle seals are leaking.
