5-speed lubrication

5-speed lubrication

I'm going to need to change the gasket on the access panel on my tranny, so when I get it all finished what type or lube does it need...what weight, and how much

EDIT: I dont reed all that good lol.
Should have the Mitsu 5spd, In which case its 4.8 pnits of 80-90w gear oil

yeah should have added it was the mitsu....it is a 4x4, also is there a gasket or should I just use RTV, autozone and advance don't carry one

RTV AND a gasket made out of a gasket material roll IMO. If it was the Mazda trans, it takes ATF and we all know ATF + RTV do not mix. You are good to go in that department.

does any old auto parts store sell gasket rolls?

Yeah just ask for it at the counter. Its like construction paper.

Or "lubrication for trannys"..
