5R55E TSS help!!!!
1999 4.0 ohv with 5r55e code is P0715 , Trans is in limp mode, banging into every gear. Tested resistance of turbine shaft speed sensor and it is within spec, 94 ohms to be exact. Where do i go now , ive cleaned all connectors on trans and the 50 pin connector. On my scan tool in still have 0 rpm on TSS and OD drum. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Oh also did a filter change and drain and fill but didn't help obviously haha.

Not Transmission; possibly bad Injector\Plug+Wire\VacLeak\UpStreamOxSensor\...

I had the same p0715 code, got the trans opened up and the reluctor wheel had sheered off its mount. Wasn’t the actual sensor that failed.
well ****, i guess i got lucky then lol, it turned out the insulation had stripped off the wires of the tss and was occasionally contacting eachother. So replaced with oem part as i had used a non oem one when i rebuilt the trans, and i think thats where i screwed up lol. But shes back to good as new thankfully.
