8.8 rear?

8.8 rear?

will a fs bronco 8.8 fit in the back of a ranger....i know the front i can put the d44. but i dont know about the rear

yes....but you will have to modify either the hangers on the truck, or relocate the spring perches on the axle. I'm talking about the distance between the springs....compact vs. full size.

Pretty easy swap too.....

The hangers are just a few minutes, I am not sure about the driveshaft though but even with a change its a nice swap.....

There are probably several ways you could get a driveshaft to bolt up. The swap shouldn't be difficult at all if you are able to weld.

im probably parting out my bronco soon so i am keeping all f the full size axle's ...
cant have but helping of stronger brakes and front end...
and for the width issue im just gunna got full glass 6" all the way around

weldings not a problem i got a pro. ill post a picture of his work
