The rumbling noise I still hear in the drivetrain is probably the bearing for the clutch. I notice it when parked in the driveway now. Push in the clutch and the noise goes away. Clutch probably has around 100k on it. It's due for replacement so that's the next step.

I'm having same problems with the vibration
Different rear end just installed .still
A vibration from rear of truck I changed all the joints in drive shaft a thousand miles agoe
I thinking I have to change again because my old rearend yoke and inside rear end was just
Wore out I don't understand how the brakes could make it shake without brakes applied.
I put in a rearend out of 94 ford ranger to my 99 ranger perfect fit but the 94 has 9 inch hubs
My 99 10 or 11 hubs only the lugs keep it
In so I don't like it or trust the whole setup
Now I'm probably going to try axles and hubs
From 99 rearend to 94 rearend.
My input shaft going in to back of trans from universal shaft is sloppy I can grab it.
And feel it hitting teeth on rear on trans
So I'll keep trying.keep me posted
And I'll do the same 340.000 miles ford ranger
