I just purchased this 94 Ranger 4x4 4 Lit, c/w 5 spd and it seems to be very gutless. I changed the fuel filter, air filter and spark plugs which didn't seem to make much difference. There is no service engine light on so i am assuming an OBD2 reader would not lead me anywhere, any suggestions?????

i bet you have 3.27 gears in your truck whats the axle code on the drive door say

 

It's an R6 code which I believe is a 3.73
