Auto to Manual tranny swap???

Auto to Manual tranny swap???
I have a 98 4.0 4x4 ext cab w/ auto trans. Question is could i swap in a manual trans somewhat easily? im sick of my auto trans problems. it drops out of overdrive, shifts very hard, and is a PAIN. Any help would be awesome

use the search option there's a lot of info on this. It's a lot of work but if you have time, money and the knowledge it can be done. TrePaul has a excellent wright up
