What is low idle RPM?

low RPM = low oil pressure

240k miles = larger gaps in bearings so lower oil pressure in general

lowest oil pressure in any engine is at the valve train, gravity.

If noise if gone at 700 RPMs(and up) then noise if from lack of oil pressure, fix the low idle issue

But I would pull off the valve cover and check clearances in valve train

I fixed the idle problem it was just a burnt vocuum line but the noise don't seem to be comeing from the value cover sounds lik it's comeing from the bottom of the motor in the front

Timing belt and/or tensioner could be causing the noise, loose belt will hit the cover making a metallic sound

Ok so I take the cover off then start it to see what the noise is? And how long can I drive with the noise. I don't want to break down on the side of the road

What did you find as far as the noise??
Did it go away with cover off?

My crystal ball is off-line right now so best I can say is, an engine can break down anytime, but with an unknown noise it might be sooner than later.
