I would appreciate a little help before I go tearing into this transmission. I have a 93 Explorer with an A4LD transmission that one just decided to stop working. It does absolutely nothing, no noises, no movement in any gear, including reverse. The linkage is intact and it goes into park. Torque converter? No burnt fluid and I haven't pulled the pan on it yet. I just want to get an idea what I'm looking for and hopefully an easy fix (fat chance). I'm capable of rebuilding it, but really don't want to go into the mess and using the time to do it, unless I really have to. Paying someone else to do it makes no sense, since it is not really worth it. Any ideas?
