well i finally got the tranny out of my truck. i don't think you should be able to grab the input shaft and go side to side with it. i also took the top off and the gears look ok the only thing that looks bad is the forward shift fork and the plastic part on the side looks melted which starved the front bearing for oil. it also cooked my new throw out bearing (it's not turning smooth anymore). wonder if i should change the clutch again,i just put it in last june. oh well off to pull and save thursday 55 bucks for a used one. how can i tell if is good while still in the truck?
