bigger tires diff ?

i seem too remmber reading something about when you put on bigger tires you need too change your gear raito. now this is my issue is it the gears in the rear diff? and how do you changed them? and what do i change them too? i currently have a 2008 b4000 i am looking at a super lift 4 inch suspention lift, with 31 inch tires. i went too my local 4x4 shop and they have the lift for 1300 seems like a good deal too me. so any help with my questions would be great.

Is that the price for parts or for the installation?

You should be ok with 31s, what is the gear ratio you have now?

You'll need to find your axle code on the inside of your drivers door. Take a pic if you don't know which one it is, or search for the axle code list. It may be on trs.

3.73 axle ratio is what i found be googleing it as for trying too take a pic it is very hard too take a semi decent pic of that sticker
and that is the price for parts, installation will be about 800.
