Blown Rear End

2010 Ranger, 4.0, 4X4 5 speed manual. On my way to work Friday, I thought someone hit me. I was doing less than 60 mph and the entire truck bounced in the air, went sideways and almost rolled. The engine died. Coasted to the side of the road to look for damage and nothing. Got back in, started it, put it in gear, let the clutch out and nothing. Put in in 4 wheel and it took off. Made a couple of minor clunks in back but for the most part ran and shifted fine. I was only 2 miles from work and that's were I left it. No other noises at any time leading up to this. Truck has 78,000 miles and is in real good shape, up until now. How can I find out what the gear ratio is so I can get the correct parts? Haven't pulled it apart yet seeing as it's -14 this morning. I may take it in as I'm not a drive train specialist. I have no problems working on any of my vehicles but it won't get above 10 for another week or two. Thanks ahead of time.
