Rear Axle

I need to find out where to get a new rear axle. I have 35's but lost alot of power and i was wondering about either reworking my existing axle or getting a new one. Just throw some ideas out here.

no need to change the axle, just swap out the gears
since you probably have longer stock gears as a 3.0 2WD - go for a 4.10 ratio

4.10's w/ 35's and a 3.0? Seems a little worthless to me. I'd go with 4.56s or even 4.88s since you got a 2wd. If your gonna spend the money on new gears and pay for installation you might as well go all out and only have to do it once. But you don't have to get into swapping a new rear axle. Unless maybe you don't have an 8.8 considering that would be a pretty simple swap.

you should be able to get gears from summitracing or jegs or almost anywhere if you have an 8.8 if you have a 7.5 then you may want to consider upgrading to an 8.8 to better handle those larger tires. and at least 4.56 gears would be needed for tires that big!!
