clunking noise, thanks

My slip yoke was bone dry, greased it up real good. I cannot see how that could make that much noise but all fixed thanks to you guys,again thank you

Like I posted in your main thread, it is a very common thing with the rangers and sport tracs.

Sometimes it works really well, other times it is only a temporary fix but glad you got it worked out man.

Thanks a million, if I could get it to not ping on 87-89 octane I would be happy, no codes just slightly pings at light throttle

Yeah I was reading your other thread but it doesn't make any sense to me. Your truck was made to run on 87 and I never had an issue at all. Plus you have no codes to really go on as well.

Its hard to tell how bad it is without actually being there to see if it is a problem.
