park truck on level ground and gravity bleed the clutch it may take 5 bottles of brake fluid to get the air out but thats all i do works most of the time of the time.. if that dont work go get ya a vac pump and pull the air out.. but keep the fluid res full dont let it go empty
the best way to do it is hands down the exact opposite of what everyone else just said. completely EMPTY the master and use a large syringe (what i use), or something like a pressure can to push fluid up through the bottom of the slave into the master. you will push all the air out on the first shot and should not have any problems with it at all. i have done this to several different cars and trucks. some vehicles this is literally the only way it can be done
this is called a Phoenix Bleeder. They seem to work but the nose up method is the easiest. When i say nose up, i mean back bumper is almost to the ground to get the master straight. Ive used the Phoenix bleeder and it works, but in cases that it didnt, the nose up method worked good
how did you originally bleed it? Whenever you replace the slave, all you should do is fill the resivoir, and gravity bleed it for about ten seconds. don't pump and hold, or anything else. this is the way i did mine, and it bled itself driving around the next week.
