electronic to maual? 4x4 shift motor

Icon5 electronic to maual? 4x4 shift motor
is it possiable for me to take off the shift motor and manualy turn or switch my truck into 4 wheel drive at the transfer case?? or is that not possiable?

yeah i did it for a few weeks when the motor went out i used vicegrips to turn the selector
