i want to do the explorer axle swap on my 01 ranger. so i was just wondering what years and models came with lsd so i know what to look for.

 

Are you doing it for the disc's? 95-01 explorer and up to 03 explorer sports and sport tracs. If it had LS or not, is variable. Gonna have to see the door sticker or the axle tag or even pop the cover off and see the S-spring to confirm it having LS.


*my sport/sport trac end year may be wrong. It could be 05.

 

i want the discs and ls. so i guess i gotta hit up the junk yards and see what i can find

 

After the CFC program, Explorers are PLENTIFUL in the boneyards. I went to the boneyard for the first time since the CFC, yesterday and I counted at least 24 Explorers in one yard.
