Broken Driveshaft... **** Me! What to do?!

Alright like the topic states. My front drive shaft is SMOKED. I knew something was wrong before hand but never looked closely at it untill it started making a clunking noise.

Here is what is wrong...
- the shaft is bent
- the cv part to the t-case bent
- the boot to the cv part is gone ( yes slinging grease all over )
- threw a balancing weight on it

So all in all it is ****ed!

Edit: ALSO, the driveshaft was ****ed before the RCD and the 35s, I already knew it was messed up, just now it finally took a ****!

My question is now, ANYONE know of ANYPLACE that makes custom driveshafts? I do not want a cv joint at all, they are pos.

Any info would be helpfull... thanks again!
-Jared

Had mine made at a place CCC Heavy Duty Truck Parts. They made me a custom shaft using greasable universals. It works great with zero issues. Cost around 250 - 300... Lot cheaper than the 500 bucks for the SL one!

All I know is the superlift driveshaft costs about $350 and it's a dual cardan design. I tried finding pictures while I was researching my superlift kit but I couldn't find any. I'll take a look around and see what's up.

No it is just high angle U-joints and an adapter the guy mashined to make it all work with the tranny. I got to be his first to use his new setup. As for the SL shaft, I was quoted 450 - 500 dollars from SL depending on the shipping method. I got mine much cheaper....

How can you drive down the road with 37" swampers and feel a driveshaft vibration? lol My 35 bfgs shake my truck like a mother...and my old f-150 had 35" SSR's.
