fill plug on T case

fill plug on T case

where is the fill plug on a borg warner 1354 transfer case

The fill plug is on the back of the t-case. The drain plug is also on the back. To get to it pull off the dampener, that black thing on the back.

Yeah, the dampener looks like a black bell or something with a bracket on it. The plug is right behind it, can't miss it!

here's a pic.....


My fill is painted pink(to the the right), and the drain is the one at the bottom left that's wet. You need to take off the dampner first using a 13mm wrench/socket to remove the 4 mounting bolts. Be prepared to see brown.

Thanks for the info, I was also looking for that damn thing. I like how the manual says nothing of removing the dampner.
