I got my Trac Loc in the mail on Tuesday and ordered my bearings on Wednesday and Installed it after work today... It took about an hour to install and and now i can spin both my rear wheels... Its quite awesome actually... Oh and I can hook up better on Acceleration when its raining out, like it is now. Im quite happy with it.

A guy at work didnt believe me when i told him my Ranger has more gear than his full size.. I had to prove it to him.
I used Build Sheet, Axel Tag And Door Sticker... Haha he finally realized my ford was better than his dodge...

So you did or didn't measure backlash with the new carrier? If I'm reading correctly you just reused the shims for the open carrier on the trac-lok carrier. I would've imagined that would cause problems.
