2001 Ranger Edge P/U with 4.0L & Torsion Bar. Wanted to have as much air and tactile feel to the ride so I did 5 mods and maintenance tips outlined here in the forum. First, I did the airhorn (airbox) mod as instructed. Taking out that restriction of the horn and blockage at the filter box should allow more air into the motor. I then did a complete K&N filter cleaning (was a little dirty), and after that removed the Throttle Body from the motor and cleaned it of all fuel/dirt gathered over the years. I then did the accelerator cable slack takeup that has now given a more responsive accelerator pedal. While I had the TB and airbox off, I also flushed the MAF sensor with MAF cleaner.
