I noticed a bearing growl as I was going down the road the other day, and when I crawled underneath and noticed my front differential is leaking at the drivers side axle. I suspect that the bearing growl I hear is coming from the same location. My question is, once I pull the cv axle out, can the bearing and seal be removed from the outside without dropping and gutting the differential?
