do what this thread says to find out what gear you have now:
https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...ad.php?t=37149

then answer the following questions:
1. What is your current (stock) gear ratio?
2. What was your stock tire size?
3. Where do you mostly drive (city or highway or a little of both)?

Good questions to ask but also, what engine do you have? I have run 33s w/ 4.10s on both my 99 (3.0) and my 03 (4.0). I didn't like them with the 3.0 but the 4.0 handles them nicely. My opinion, if you've got the 4.0 you'll be fine with the 4.10s.

yes, if you have the 4.0, then 4.10's will be fine....if you have the 3.0, then no, you should get 4.56 gears...

yes gas will be better, as long as your not going to be going up a ton of hills your RPM's will be lower and thus get better gas mileage.

I only had 3.73 gears in my 93 3.0L with 33's and I got 22mpg regularly in city driving.
