Good price for regearing?

I talked to my local 4wheelparts store and they are quoting me $647.87 to regear my rear axle (8.8, Open, 28 spline) Is this a good price? That's everything out the door.

I was thinking of buying the gears elsewhere and having a local shop do the install, but I can never find trustworthy people to work on my truck, everyone I go to ends up screwing something up.

I got labor for 300+tax. I think it's a good deal for everything. I got an awesome deal on gears (zabeard) and install kit was 110, I have about 500 or so into it all together..maybe 550.

How much would it cost to regear the front and back diffs without labor? (4.10-4.56)

When I was priced regearing I was told $300-350 if I had all the parts.

Roughly $350 of the quote is labor, so I guess it's a fair deal. 4 wheel parts may be high priced, but I always get good service from them and I trust my truck in their hands.

I may search for a better cost on gears elsewhere, and just have them do the install. No matter what I do, I need to get these gears installed by the Union Grove meet.
