help asap diff

So my 02 fx4 has fallen to the diff recall for a second time. It was replaced once before i owned it. well now with 64000 the carrier shattered again.. i was able to limp it home thankfully. so now on to getting it fixed. i bought a t2 from fx4wannabe but believe it or not the bs post office lost the package. it was not insured so after waiting for 2 + weeks i need my truck. so im gonna buy a new diff and i need to know if this one works in my truck and weather its better or worse than the t2 cause of the clutchs.
Eaton 19588-010 Eaton Posi Differentials
a lil help is thankful. i found this one somewhere else for 275 new

Gear driven units are better than clutch units.

Definitely get a Truetrac over a clutch based unit.

No. That is what comes as a stock Ford limited slip (except for the Torsen in your truck). It is clutch based and sucks.

Call the guy at diffsonly.com - http://www.diffsonly.com/catalog/contact_us.php
I ordered gears and lockers from him and I saved around $400 over what randy's ring and pinion wanted. Ask him what he can sell a truetrac for a 31 spline 8.8 for.

Here is the part at randy's ring and pinion. http://www.ringpinion.com/ProductDet...px?ProdID=1930

Detroit Tru-Trac. It will cost more up front but it is one badass limited slip diff and doesn't use clutches which will wear out.

Like I mentioned, call the number on the diffs only website. He was able to beat prices for every vendor I called and talked to on the internet for gears, eaton differentials, bearings, etc.
