i have a 91 2.9L with a 7.5" rear end, but when i tried to figure out the gear ratio from the tag on the axle, the code seems to read "73" where is ratio code is supposed to be, i couldnt find any info on this specific code.

thanks! why is there no 3 in front of the 73 code? i was confused cause i couldnt find the code in the ford manuals

 

It probably wore off or something like that. That axle tag has been around for a good while lol
