I need help decifering an axle tag...

I know how to read the basics of these things, but I am wondering what the rest of this tag means. If somebody knows how or where to decifer this I would appreciate it!

WEB - BH 7GC

Yup, I've read that page... wasn't a ton of help on this, but is very informative.

I have figured out what the clusters of numbers are, but don't know what exactly they mean.

I do know it has 2.50:1 gears, open, and is a 9".. thats about all I can tell from this tag.

I know there is a chart out there someplace, I just need help finding it..

Yea.. got that.. I'm curious of the other stuff..

Well we are getting closer.

This tag says WEB-BH.. not just WEB-B

I know this info above is not quite correct because I pulled it myself out of a Ranchero.. not a Comet/Fairlane...

Thanks for helping look though! Keep it up..

all right i think i finally got a good bit of it. Ford would be the only one to identify what i havent
WEB-BH is the 60's-70's Fairlane
7GC is the date (7 being the day, i think)
2 50 is the gearing
9 means its a 9"
810A is the plant code, i think

Thanks!

Would you mind telling me where you found this?

Only thing still puzzling me is that I, personaly, pulled it from a mid+ 70's Ranchero, and it shares properties with the Torino axle, not Fairlane, at least to my knowledge...

Anyway... if anybody else can shed light on the date code/plant codes I would apreciate it!
