Icon5 Help! Clutch Release Ping!

For one.. I will note, I have been driving the truck pretty hard these past few days. Now every time I release the clutch i get this ping tick type noise like a hammer hitting an anvil lol.

Every time I am stopped at a light or stop sign or leaving my driveway I release the clutch into first and once it hits that catch point and you start moving there is a loud ping like I just explained. it only happens when I start moving going into first and some times from first to second but its very quiet. It sounds like its coming from the rear or maybe the tranny.. I have a reg cab so its harder to hear where its coming from. I looked around online and people have said it is a diff pin or something which makes sense, if its when I start moving its likely the diff... I don't know a lot about diffs or even enough to mess around with one so I'd like to figure out what this is if anyone has had this problem before.

id pull off the inspection plate of your tranny and check to see if its possible your through out bearing or bent clutch fork. Do you get a I subtle grinding noise if u barely press your clutch pedal? Just press in your clutch enough to take the free play out of the pedal to where it is firm on the pedal. lf so id say it was the through out bearing. Just a couple of things for ya to look at. Hope that helps. good luck
