Help! Missing piece for transfercase swap!

Im missing the part that the shifter connects with the transfer case. Its Z or something close to it shaped I think...
Kinda looks like this I think? ____| Anyone know where I can find it or will sell it to me? |

Its going on my Bronco II manual transfercase swap.

Thanks
-Vic

The shifter Linkage?

Hit a junkyard, that is the only place you are going to find them.

What tcast you using? The lower half of the linkages are different between 1350 and 1354. I've got a decent assortment of left over parts I got for my swap...some shift arms, the upper half of the linkage. etc.

Its a 1354 manual transfer case out of a 91 explorer. Atleast what I can remember, its at the shop right now having some work done on the motor but before I took it over there I knew I was missing that piece..

For some reason photobucket isn't working for me. I tried loading pics.

Do you have any linkage at all? I know for sure I've got the part that actually bolts to the trans tailhousing along with the shifter and boot. I dont have the part that goes in between the handle and the tcase.

haha...figured out the problem...stupid shane. lol. But I uploaded 'em on tinypic...

Pictured on left is 1350....on right is 1354...notice where the bends are. 1350 linkage wont work on 1354 because it hits the front output or the shaft. The upper part of the linkage however, will work on both 1350 or 1354....same piece and same shift arm. This is the piece that bolts to the housing, and I have this piece as extra if you need it.

Oh...I've got a few extra bushings and that huge bolt too if you need that.

im going to double check and see which part I need. I think its the lower part to be honest because I got the shifter and some pieces but I cant quite remember. O but I just remembered to say that I am doing a 4.0 Swap with a C5.. I dont know if that changes anything in a bronco II.

Does anyone have a spare of the last linkage from the shifter to the transfercase lever? Its the piece that is about 4inches long I think that connects with the U-shaped end of the shifter. 1354 Manual Transfer case. The JY around me only have the electric tc's in the yard.

someone help please

That would be the part of the linkage that bolts to the 'stub' coming out of the tcase and then the rest of the linkage slides onto it via a bushing between the two.

There aren't any of those in my area right now, and I dont have any of those as spares.

GOOOOD picture though!! It really does help out, and I'm not joking either.
