Help please

Alright so i have a 99 ranger. For last month or so i had to double clutch to put it in gear sometimes. Now its not going into gear at all. I have the master cylinder out and am trying to get fluid to move through it. Instead no fluid comes out but the older black fluid is going up into the reservoir tank. Pls help??

This is an excerpted procedure from a paper manual I have. I'm certain you're seeking help videos at this very moment.
Raise/set on jack stands/safely...bleed valve is on the left side of the clutch housing.
Fill the master cylinder DON'T LET IT RUN DRY
Fit a hose to the bleeder valve and run it to a catch bottle/ open valve
Let it run until you're free of bubbles
Close the bleeder valve
Have an assistant slowly depress the clutch and hold it.
Open the bleeder valve/let it flow until it stops/close the valve
Once closed/release the pedal
Slowly press and release the pedal 5 times waiting 2 seconds each time the pedal is released
Check/repeat as necessary
