Hey everyone, its been a while, tranny trouble.

I went wheeling with my roommate Sunday night and we got stuck bad, so we went back and got my truck to yank his jeep out. Well I ended up beating on my truck pretty good and now the tranny wont get into reverse and I have to shift it manually.

I have a couple questions:

1. When the "O/D OFF" light flashes on the dash, what does that mean.
2. I checked the tranny fluid and it is burnt and real low, I am on the way to the parts store to get the necessary parts and fluid to change fluid. Could this possible fix it. I'm not sure if anything really broke because I heard no noises, I think I may of possibly just boiled the ATF out. I'm no trans specialist by any means though, any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
